DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for a new mission filled with excitement\, friendship and community building? We want you to join Bear Crossing 6’s Mission Command! \nWe are inviting anyone who’s interested to join the Bear Crossing Planning Committee for 2019! \nWhat is Bear Crossing? It’s a 4 day “party with a purpose” that is the premiere event put on by the Kansas City Bear Mafia. It’s held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel and Coco Key Water Resort near the Royals/Chiefs stadiums. Bears and their admirers come from all over the world to have a good time with friends old and new while helping us raise money for local LGBTQ+ non-profits. \nThe planning committee is completely volunteer based. We’re looking for hard working individuals who want to make the party happen for our attendees. We are especially looking for those with skills or experience in graphic design\, event and party planning and decorating. However\, no skills are necessary to be part of the committee. We will help you find projects that align with your interests. We have multiple options based on your time commitment and availability. The only requirements we have is meeting attendance for your assigned tasks so ideally we are looking for those who live in the KC Metro area. We typically meet during the day on weekends. \nIf you are new to the city or looking for ways to get involved with your community this is a fantastic opportunity.
