It was decided for logistical and financial reasons that this event would be best as an unorganized/non permitted rally on the sidewalks near Ilus David Park and in front of City Hall.  \nThe First Amendment bars government from requiring a permit when one person or a small group protest in a park\, or when a group of any size protest on a public sidewalk in a manner that does not burden pedestrian or vehicle traffic. \nBE AWARE:\nIf the rally does not meet requirement for a non-permit event (more than a small group or it burdens traffic) then the First Amendment does not excuse the absence of a permit\, and protesters without a permit might be arrested or prosecuted. \nQ: Where is the rally?\nA: The sidewalks near Ilus David Park and in front of City Hall in a manner that does not burden pedestrian or vehicle traffic. \nQ: Who is organizing the event?\nA: This event is only for spreading the word that a rally (a verb meaning to come together) can happen in the name of LGBTQIA support on June 11th. There is no organizer behind it.  \nQ: What will happen at the rally?\nA: That’s up to the people who attend the rally. The purpose of the rally is to come together and show support of the LGBTQIA community.
